happy valentines day!
happy valentines day!

Not sure there’s a more perfect day to pop in with a hello! I hope today finds you cozy!  I just updated our spring/summer calendar so although i know it feels early with recent ice storms still in our memory, the prime days of low humidity and less bugs go *fast* and we’re already booking april & may dates!

I love travel (we just need to plan ahead) so definitely let us know if that’s on your mind and I’ll come to you wherever! happy happy valentines day!! with affection, -melanie-

for the jane austen lovers out there, this children’s book is so sweet – the illustrator pulled colors from antique textiles to give the pages such a beautiful feeling

never has there been a better chrome extension!  it tells you if the book you’re looking at is at your library!!  a couple power tips: connect multiple libraries…if you’re in lexington, you can join the jessamine county library which is helpful because often they’ll have something we don’t have in fayette co. (and you can return those books at the kroger @ brannon crossing)

what’s on your ‘to read’ list? I heard about this and can’t wait to dig in.  short version: it’s about violin makers and some of the lessons learned as they sourced materials that would create the most resonance in their final product

kind words:

Dear Melanie,
I do not have the words to adequately thank you for the amazing job you did capturing our wedding weekend and preserving those memories for our family. I am beyond stunned at how gorgeous all of our photos are, and you captured the emotions and spirit of the moment so beautifully. Thank you, thank you, thank you. You were an absolute joy to work with and everyone that interacted with you that weekend sang your praises. I am forever grateful we found you! Hopefully, we will have more family moments for you to capture in the future. Thank you for the gift of a lifetime.

With love and gratitude,
