hotel des arts in san francisco looks like such a great place to stay…love discovering new artists and the one on the left is by kelly tunstall.  boutique hotels like the library in nyc are such a great new trend. your fave hotels/inns (list them in the comments section)?  -m-

p.s. my fave ky painter?  patrick adams without a doubt…i remember walking into tower cerlan gallery years ago (now ann tower gallery) and his series of landscapes from france took my breath away.  here’s one of his pieces titled ‘after the rain’.

It isn’t artsy but I absolutely love the Westin, soley because of thier “Heavenly Bed”. It is without a doubt the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in. If it wasn’t over $2K for the entire bed I would take one home with me!
